Ken asks…
is the secret shopper job listed on jobsearch.com legit if you have to pay $25 to even enroll?
I’m looking for a part time job and love shopping. Does anyone know if it’s legit?
Robin West answers:
NEVER take a job where you have to give them cash up front before they will pay you. They should want to invest their time and money into you…be weary.

Lizzie asks…
Does anyone know of any other resources I can use to find a job beside monster. com and careerbuilder ?
I have used careerbuilder monster. com, indeed. com, jobsearch.com,simplyhired. com and none of them work. I have even been with joblink which is a unemployed site. But still nothing. Is there anything else I can do ?
Robin West answers:
Find 3-4 employment agencies and sign up with each of them being very specific about the type of job that you are looking for and the salary you require. This is completely free of charge as your future employer will be paying all of their fees. These professionals will work to find you the best position that they can find because they are only paid a healthy commission if they successfully find you a job. Don’t make the mistake of registering with a single agencies. Many companies will work only through a single agency to negotiate better rates for themselves, so all jobs are not available at all agencies.
