Your Questions About Job Monster Uk

Donald asks…

Anyone having trouble searching for jobs on Monster UK?

I’m not sure whether it is a broken link or my internet but I can’t access the job search page on Monster UK.

Anyone else having issues?

Robin West answers:

It’s not your internet access. The problem is from the Monster UK website. I can’t access the jobsearch page either.

Lizzie asks…

Wondering if any of the jobs advertised on UK jobsites actually exist? Im talking Monster,Total,Job Rapido etc?

Robin West answers:

I believe the ones advertised directly by employers do exist. It’s the jobs advertised by recruitment agencies that I don’t trust. In my experience, very few agencies place genuine ads on those sites. Many place ads for jobs that don’t exist so they can get more CVs on their database and then call you later when they have any relevant (or in many cases, irrelevant) jobs available. When I see a job by an agency, if it has not got a contact number or salary/rate on it, then I don’t send my CV. If it has a contact number, I ring them to find out more about the job and if they tell me to send my CV first, then I don’t send it.

Ken asks…

What job search websites are to look for a job in the UK?

I know Monster.co.uk, reed.com, Michael page

Any other you may know for finance jobs?

Robin West answers:

Try this site- it might help you or give you links to other sites!
