Mark asks…
Would you consider on having temporary programming and general IT related jobs ?
After i saw different job offers from different countries such as USA, Ireland, France , Japan.
I used monster.com to search for jobs and i found it useful.
I searched for jobs related to Programming ( PC, with C++), Web Programming, Data base administrator, Data Base Programmer ( making databases in mySQL), or working with Oracle, software engineer and so on.
But i found that most of the jobs where Temporary or Project Based or just for 2+ to 5 years.
Personally, i like this idea, because i am not a person that would want to settle in one place forever, well at least i still like the idea of going all over the world.
But would you find this a good thing ?
I mean, you work on a project here, then move to another country or just city, and work there too and so on.
For example, you work 2 years in France, then you move to work in Japan for a project or another 2 years, then you go in USA or any other country, and so on.
Robin West answers:
I hate the idea of changing jobs, especially if it involves changing residence as well. I have zero desire to “travel the world”. I’m perfectly happy to stay in one place at one job. But that’s me. It’s not for everyone.
