Thomas asks…

Job hunting problems need help…?

everywhere I look these days I see all sorts of job hunting web sites that are just loaded with options…and positions…..however thats only if you have a college degree and don’t mind a deskjob. is there any site out there that specifies in blue collar careers AND list the salaries for the positions shown.

Robin West answers:

If you haven’t already, try craigslist and also your local newspapers. Most don’t list salary information. They should; it’s really stupid for them not to, but they just don’t.

Steven asks…

i was job hunting today and… (lgbt)?

i walked in to next and there was this reeeeally cute guy with blue eyes so i went up to him and he started telling me how to apply online etc.. He was very friendly and approchable, he was smiling the whole time and looking me right in the eye, and looking at me from head to toes. He kept on going and i was like oh thank you. it felt like he wanted the conversation to last longer but didn’t say anything else so i said oh alright thank you very much and he just looked at me with those amazing blue eyes and smiling with his eyes, i wanted to complement his eyes but i thought it was cheesy, plus i am applying there i didn’t want him to think that im fliritng with him so i can get the job (he’s the manager) which i didn’t. So i just went.

On my way home all i could think about is him and how i could have said something to him that hinted that i’m interested but i have fear of rejection and i’m not 100% that he’s gay. So at least i know where he works, what do you think i should do? thanks a lot

Robin West answers:

There is a Chinese proverb, which says, “Only three things never come back. An angry word, a spent arrow and a missed opportunity”.
