Paul asks…
what can scammers do with the info I gave them?
I went to yahoo hotjobs to look for a job. I clicked apply on one of the jobs then it went to another site called careersitesourse.com.
They needed my first and last name, home address, zip code, cellphone #, email address, and resume.
I didnt think it was a scam until I clicked continue, where it went to another site called career-network.com and they
gave me a username and password for login and asked me if i want more info on education and what is my credit score.
I entered fake info on another application with the same email address to see if they will get the fake info instead.
After i entered fake info on the other application, I logged in and didn’t see the application status anymore.
They sent me a email saying they received my application and click on the link for more info on the job and more information
will be required if I want to get hired.I clicked on the link to see if I can delete my account but it just went to the login page.
I clicked on the bottom of the email where it says remove me from this mailing list.
I did not give out information like social security number or bank info.
The next day I got a call from a machine that asked me if I want to stop receiving calls about some bank then press 1
Anyone can find names and addresses from the phone book but I do not know if they can hack into my computer and get all the
personal information I entered for phone bills and social security numbers required for government job site.
What can they do with the information I gave them? (Full name, Address, Cellphone number, city, State, email address, and resume)
I reformatted my computer, can viruses stay on even If I reformat?
Should I change my email address even though I am not getting spam mail?
Robin West answers:
I think you’re paranoid. XD. The can’t do much with just that information. Social security, credit card info and all that jazz is more important. As for your cellphone, block them; as for your email, block them; as for your mail… Throw them away. XD. And most viruses will be taken along with a wipe. Once again, I think you’re overly paranoid. But it’s better safe than sorry, I suppose.

In railways father as well as mother (if father is alive) is not given passes as well as medical help.
Some people have no source of income and they are dependent on their son still they dont get medical help and passes in railways.

Maria asks…
Why do wife and daughter snoop in my email and?
I’m a faithful husband and good step-father. Yet, i constantly find that my wife and daughter are snooping in my email and personal belongings, personal snail mail. Checking to see what my computer browsing history is an commenting on it. I’ve resorted to locking up all my personal papers, changing my password & settings and not using auto login but, somehow they are acquiring my password to access my email account.
Should I set my foot down and tell them to stay the Heck out of my personal affairs? I want some form of limited privacy in my life. I’m retired they both have jobs with the government and have some IT person who directs them on how to open my email. I know it is opened on many occassions and many times they have deleted email from people to the trash bin of my email account.
Robin West answers:
Hmm sounds like they dont trust you.. But as long you are not doing anything wrong it should be ok.. You should sit down and tell them about it bothering you.. Keeping quite about it means yr ok with it .. If all dont work you should do somthing about it .. Dont check or direct yr things to yr home address: e.g;
another way is to go to an internet cafe and set up a totally new account(do names or passwords no relating to you).. About yr personal snail mabye u could sign up for a P.O.Box account. I’m not sure about yr area having that postal service..
Gd luck
